The Smoking Gun
Amos 3:7 Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plans to his servants the prophets.
We have God’s word telling us that He will do nothing without revealing His plans to the servants that He has chosen to prophesied. We can and will know in advance, but will we recognize it for what it is?
Psalms 140:2 ...who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day. They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent’s; the poison of vipers is on their lips.
Who are these evil men?
Psalms 140:9 Let the heads of those who surround me be covered with the trouble their lips have caused.
If the shoe fits put it on.
Why are these men devising evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day? Why have their tongues become as sharp as a serpent’s? How did this viper’s poison get into them so it could be on their lips?
The psalmist tells us the lips are the parts that are causing the trouble and this trouble is going to fall even on the heads of the very people which surrounded him. Why have these lips become deceived that they would do such a thing?
Job 20:12 “Though evil is sweet in his mouth and he hides it under his tongue, though he cannot bear to let it go and keeps it in his mouth, yet his food will turn sour in his stomach; it will become the venom of serpents within him. He will spit out the riches he swallowed; God will make his stomach vomit them up. He will suck the poison of serpents; the fangs of an adder will kill him. He will not enjoy the streams, the rivers flowing with honey and cream. What he toiled for he must give back uneaten; He will not enjoy the profit from his trading.”
Through this passage in Job, God is telling us that this food that is sweet goes into the stomach and then it turns into poisonous venom and makes us sick. At some juncture this food becomes evil and evil is sin.
Ex23:19 You are not to boil a kid in the milk of its mother. Meat is a protein and milk is a protein, Is God telling us that two proteins are not to be mixed?
Hosea 3:1 The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another and is an adulteress. Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin-cakes.” Was God telling them not to mix fruit with grains?
As wonderfully engineered as this body is it was not designed to digest many different foods at the same time. God’s chooses to work within His laws in chemistry as he does for all His other laws. Different foods require different formulas for complete digestion. Therefore, as we combine many varying foods together in one meal we limit the body’s ability to completely digest anything. Undigested food in the stomach will turn sour and become poison. This poison will be sucked off through the intestines into the bloodstream and make its way to every part of the body. We are sinning against our own bodies and we have no idea that our actions are separating us from God.
We are willing to endure sickness and disease so as to continue consuming the sweet taste of these delicacies. We know there is some digestion problems, yet never perceiving that good foods combined improperly is poisoning our bodies.
These actions will keep us from the living water, where we would have been enjoying literally honey and cream. The person’s hard work from his trading, which enabled him to buy this food, gave his body no advantage. The issue is acerbated do to the fact that we believe we have done nothing wrong.
Pro 5:6 She gives no thought to her way of life; her paths are crooked, but she knows it not.
Pro 30:20 This is the way of an adulteress: She eats and wipes her mouth and says, ‘I’ve done nothing wrong.’
but the wrong combining of foods. They are sweet and appealing,
but God considers these acts as committing adultery.
Pro 18:7 A fool’s mouth is his ruin, And his lips are the snare of his soul.
This trouble that the lips are causing is proceeding to induce the heart to devise evil plans because of the essence of who you are becoming. Day after day “the body of Christ” is slowly and continually being bathed in poisons at the ignorance of our own hands.
Matt 15:19 Jesus said “For out of the heart comes evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.”
Matt 12:34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.
The lips operating like gates have let in poison and the body has been designed to fight off evil which is resulting in war every day, not peace.
Job 36:18 “Beware lest wrath 2534 entice you to scoffing; and do not let the greatness of the ransom 3724 turn you aside.
This is Elihu speaking of God’s dealings with men and Elihu was not condemned by God like Job’s other three friends. In the Hebrew dictionary this word wrath 2534 states - heat; anger or poison (from its' fever) and ransom 3724 states - to cover, appease, make atonement. Elihu is warning us to beware that the heat which comes from this poison, can and will, entice us to make our ransom the object of our contempt. These actions of mocking the Lamb of God will expose you to your sin.
Pro 14:30 A heart at peace gives life to the body.
If your lips refuse to take in poison there is no demand on your body to use up energy to make peace, which now can be used to give life to the body.
Isaiah was caught up like Job, just as we all are being deceived by our wrong doing.
Isaiah 6:5 Then I said, “Woe is me, for I am a man of unclean (2931 - foul in a religious sense: defiled, polluted) lips, (8198 - through the idea of termination; the lip - as a natural boundary) and I live among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs. And he said this has touched your lips; “And your sin is forgiven.”
Think of it, even this great man of God before he came into the service of The Creator, lived a life which could not discern between the pure and the profane. Isaiah saw Truth for who He was, which compelled him to suffer the pain of having his lips cauterized by a hot coal, so as to keep from polluting God’s holy temple. Back then, there was no one who saw God and today there is no one who sees God. Our nature has not changed from Isaiah’s day!
In the foot notes in my first Bible (NIV) it has this to say under Psalms 141; Like in Psalms 140, the prayer is profuse (generous) in its physiological (the study of the function and vital processes of living organisms or their parts and organs) allusions: (allude, mention) hands, mouth, lips, heart, head, bones, eyes.
David understood that his body was made up of these living organisms and how and what they were fed, made the difference to how he conducted himself. This understanding of the truth and choice to submit to it, position himself to be refereed to by God “as man after God’s own heart.” This is not some special privilege David enjoyed, but a conscious decision on his part to line up with the truth.
Likewise, you need not ask God for some special concession so you too, can be in this elite classification, but only make a conscious decision to apply His truth. Truth applied is truth that goes to work for you, for to line up with truth and not receive the blessing of that truth is impossible.
Psalms 39:1 “I will guard my mouth as with a muzzle, while the wicked are in my presence.”
Psalms 141:3 Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips. Let not my heart be drawn to what is evil, to take part in wicked deeds with men who are evildoers; let me not eat of their delicacies.
David’s prayer is asking God to keep watch over what his lips allow in, so his heart may not be drawn into do what is evil, or to take part in wicked deeds with men who are evildoers. David is calling on God to give him the strength to refuse the desires of his flesh by not eating of these evildoers delicacies. He has understanding into the laws of physiology and is directly connecting what is put in the mouth and eaten to the state of the heart. David knows that these delicacies when eaten are going to subtly seduce and take away his ability to resist evil or believe God.
Romans 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
The mind does not possess within itself the ability to believe, it only understands the need to confess to its depravity. It is the heart that will be proclaiming what you believe and not the intellect stemming from arrogance. Could I be conducting myself arrogantly and not know it?
(NASB) Job 15:25-28 Because he has stretch out his hand arrogantly against the Almighty. “He rushes headlong at Him with his massive shield. “For he has covered his face with his fat, and made his thighs heavy with flesh.
God through Job gives us a picture of what the state of living in arrogance looks like and acts like. If your choices have produced a massive body, you are arrogantly rushing headlong at Him. It is your actions, by your choices, that have pitted you against the Almighty.
(NIV) 1 Samuel 15:22 “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has rejected you as king.”
It is clearly showing us that a fat person is practicing idolatry!
The state of my heart is crucial because it is the pure state of my heart that gives me the ability to believe. For if I cannot believe I will not be justified, and if I am not justified, even if I confess that Jesus is Lord, I do not posses its prerequisite to be saved. The degree to which I indulge in their delicacies will be the same degree that my heart is led away from the truth. The degree my heart is corrupt, or pure, will determine at what level of faith my life will function at.
Pro 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is a wellspring of life.
Pro 27:19 As water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man.
(NASB) Luke 21:34 (Jesus speaking) “Be on your guard, that your hearts may not be weighted down with dissipation (2897 means – surfeiting or an overabundant supply, excess, an intemperate or immoderate indulgence in something [as food or drink) and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.”
has the mastery over your spirit, soul and your very life.
In Psalms, Chapter 73, David was considering the life of the wicked and reassuring himself the price of purity was the only reasonable and sane purchase. He contrasts the wicked with that of the righteous.
(NASB) Psalms 73:1-28 Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart! But as for me, my feet came close to stumbling; My steps had almost slipped. For I was envious of the arrogant, as I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no pains in their death; and their body is fat. They are not in trouble as other men; nor are they plagued like mankind. Therefore pride is their necklace; the garment of violence covers them their eyes bulges from fatness; the imaginations of their hearts run riot. They mock, and wickedly speak of oppression; they speak from on high. They have set their mouths against heavens and their tongue parades through the earth. Therefore his people return to this place; and waters of abundance are drunk by them. And they say, “How does God know? And is there knowledge with the Most High?” Behold, these are the wicked; and always at ease, they have increased in wealth. Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure, and washed my hands in innocence; for I have been stricken all day long, and chastened every morning, if I had said, “I will speak thus,” Behold, I should have betrayed the generation of Thy children. When I pondered to understand this, it was troublesome in my sight, until I came into the sanctuary of God; then I perceived their end. Surely thou dost set them in slippery places; thou dost cast them down to destruction. How they are destroyed in a moment! They are utterly swept away by sudden terrors! Like a dream when one awakes, O Lord, when aroused, thou wilt despise their form. When my heart was embittered, and I was pierced within, then I was senseless and ignorant; I was like a beast before Thee. Nevertheless I am continually with Thee; thou hast taken hold of my right hand. With Thy counsel thou wilt guide me, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but Thee? And besides Thee, I desire nothing on earth. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. For, behold, those who are far from Thee will perish; Thou hast destroyed all those who are unfaithful to Thee. But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I tell of all Thy works.
In verse 27, it is good to note that the Psalmist states that those who are far from God will perish. The life of the wicked is described as dying quickly without pains, (Psalms 78:33) their body is fat, they are not in trouble as other men, nor are they plagued like mankind. Their eyes bulge from fatness; the imaginations of their heart run riot.
Fatness is directly related to and controls the thought process.
They question if God knows or if He has knowledge. But in Psalms 73:27, the Spirit speaking through the Psalmist leaves no room for speculation by the descriptive definition of the meaning of the phrase “are unfaithful” [#2181Hebrew & Chaldee dic.] which makes fatness of the body, (from being “highly fed”), synonymous with committing idolatry, or playing the harlot. We who are highly fed (I suggest it is most all of us) have brought upon ourselves a new reality, whether we understand it or not. Now go and read your bible and put on your new reality and know the cost of whoredom.
Eze 34:16 “I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken, and strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them with judgment.
Eze 34:20 Therefore, thus says the Lord God to them, “Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.
If what my lips let in makes me sick, could this have a bearing on my heart? It is in consideration of this question that moves me to entertain the idea that the two could be connected, and it is only from the word of God that Truth will come to shed His light.
Mark 2:5 Jesus is limited by people’s faith. And Jesus seeing their faith (# 4102) said to the paralytic, "My son, your sins are forgiven.”
These men came believing and expecting only, that their friend would be cured and able to walk. The word “faith” here in the Greek Dictionary, # 4102 means; persuasion, ie. credence; moral conviction, belief.
Jesus only provides, to the extent that our moral conviction, of a religious truth, will allow us to receive. These men demonstrated their assurance in Jesus by their actions and disregard for someone else’s roof. Their resolve freed Jesus up to meet their request. Their expectations were to have their friend set free from his disease and walk, not to have his sins forgiven. They would have had no belief that this could be possible for they knew only God could forgive sin. In Mark 1:34 “and He was not permitting the demons to speak, because they knew who he was” because at this point, this truth of who He was, would only be revealed to whom the Father blesses.
Secondly when Jesus met this need with the words, “My son your sins (264) are forgiven” Christ was revealing two things. First, the fact that this man’s condition was a result of him missing the mark, and secondly, that he was God. These scribes had no trouble making the connection of what His words were implying, but in an attempt to underscore the imperative, Jesus asks the question "Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven' or to say, 'Arise, and take up your bed and walk'?" The question was posed to them to start them thinking in a new direction, away from a man who heals, to an understanding that the two issues are one in the same. That is, sin and sickness are synonymous.
Sin is lawlessness that breaks out in chaos within God’s Holy temple, our bodies, because it robs Him of receiving all the glory and honor from His workmanship.
The fact that this man walked out of the house certainly proved Jesus authority to forgive sin in a way which is undeniable. The actions were to bring to light and establish two facts and insuring one more, first;
That is, if your body is not functioning the way it was designed, then it is confirming the state of your heart.
Secondly, that Jesus had authority on earth to forgive sin, and therefore, was God. And by implication, could forgive all sin, which includes that which cannot be seen, by you or your neighbor.
Sin is just a word that God has created to quantify the thoughts and actions emanating from a physical body which is harboring evil. Evil interrupts the peaceful workings of the body and throws it into lawlessness. Sin is most often recognized as a symptom of lawlessness, but lawlessness in and of itself in sin.
(NASB) Matt 9:11-13 And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples, "Why is your Teacher eating with the tax gatherers and ‘sinners’?" But when he hears this, He said, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT SACRIFICE.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
Sickness is Sin and Sin is Sickness.
In the context of health and sickness what does this statement mean: “I desire compassion, and not sacrifice”? Jesus tells the most educated religious leaders, of the day, to go and learn what this means, and He is telling the most educated religious leaders of today, the same thing.
Jesus is saying that he desires that you, being the master of your body, to show compassion for the living organism which work to place your body in a state which glorifies the Father. He does not desire you to sacrifice the integrity of your body for some external project you are dedicating to God.
Isaiah 33:24 And no resident will say, “I am sick”; the people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.
"Healthy", in the Greek dictionary, #2480, which means; to be strong, have power; - able, strong enough, health.
And, "Righteous", in the Greek dictionary, #1342, which means; Correct. This comes from the primary word #1349, which means; right, justice (the principle, a decision or it execution)
Therefore, when Jesus correlates the righteous to the healthy, this is what He is saying: The people, because they understand the principle, have made a decision to carry out its execution, and in doing so are exhibiting their strength. On the other hand we have the "Sinners", which in the Greek dictionary, #268, means; - Sinful. This comes from a root word, #264, which means; to miss the mark, do wrong, committed offence.
"Sick", in the Greek dictionary, #2560, means; badly: - cruelly, evil, ill, sick, very wretched, wrong motives, wrongly. This comes from the root word #2556, which means; bad, evil, evil things, evildoer, harm, loathsome, wretches, wrong. To get further insight to this word I went to the Hebrew and Chaldee dictionary and it had this to say: was a primary root which means; proposed to boil up; hence to ferment (with scum); to glow (with redness); foul; troubled.
Now let us bring together the meanings of the words, "Sinners" and "Sick", that Jesus intended that we might go and learn what this means.
Jesus did not come to call the righteous, but people who have missed the mark, who do wrong, who are committing offences. That is to say, the sick people who are in a bad way, which are distinguishable in this bad way through actions of evil, illness, cruelty, wretchedness and wrong motives, because something in them has boiled up, hence to ferment with scum, consequently, to glow with redness from poisons which smell foul.
This description marks a behavior which cannot be mistaken for something which could be happening outside the body, but inside the body. Jesus did not come for the righteous, but for the person who’s spiritually is at a level that is not acceptable, and therefore, will not produce what the Father demands, worship that is true.
Jer 6:7 As a well keeps water fresh so she keeps fresh her wickedness. Violence and destruction are heard in her; sickness and wounds are ever before Me.
1 Cor 6:18 Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body.
The word immorality here is 265 in the Greek means sin which encompasses all types of evil to the body.
Pro 13:25 The Righteous has enough to satisfy his appetite, But the stomach of the wicked is in want.
1 Cor 6:13 Food is for the stomach, and the stomach for food; but God will do away with both of them. Yet the body is not for immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord is for the body.
The word immorality here, number 4202, in the Strong’s dictionary means: - fornication or to commit fornication. We may immediately think of acts of being with someone else and not stay within confines of our own body members which send our minds off thinking in a different direction.
Our cravings and appetites have enlarged our stomachs to force the members of our bodies outside of their engineering capabilities, which results in operating our temples in a state of immorality or playing the harlot. You are sinning against your own body by practicing a state of lawlessness when you fill an over sized stomach.
1 Cor 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
because our bodies are craving for real nourishment.
Our actions in ignorance, is by God’s definition, Immoral.
While each of us has a stomach, with food that can be placed in it, we will always be in a battle for morality. Thank God at some point, He will remove that which is ever beguiling us to take on evil.
Isaiah 10:27 So it will be in that day, that his burden will be removed from your shoulders and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be broken because of fatness.
Fatness #8081 grease. (a primary root) #8080; to shine (cause, make) oily or gross: - become (make, wax) fat. The sad reality is the weight you carry for your friend and family, who are in this state, in that day, will be no more.
We know that no immoral man has any inheritance in the kingdom of God. For those of you, who have not been annihilated, by the revealing of truth, in the meaning of this word “immorality” let us investigate, to see if fermentation is poisoning our bodies, since God holds us accountable for all deeds that are done in the body, and to the body because the Lord is for the body.
Ferment comes from the word ferentum, fervere, to boil; a substance or organism causing fermentation, as yeast, bacteria, etc. Fermentation is the breakdown of complex molecules in organic compounds, caused by a ferment (bacteria that curdles milk by fermentation). To decompose gradually by the action of bacteria is to rot. The rotting of organic matter by bacteria, fungi, and oxidation is verbalized by the word "putrefaction" that results in producing foul-smelling products.
Isaiah 3:24 Now it will come about that instead of sweet perfume there will be putrefaction; …
I looked up the digestive system in the Better Homes and Gardens, Family Medical Guide book, Chapter 13, produced by J. Alfred Rider, M.D. and started reading. On page 454 I read "Under a microscope the surface is seen to have myriads of tiny pits. These are depressions where glands - about 35,000,000 of them - exude their secretions. Stomach glands and specialized cells produce mucus, enzymes, hydrochloric acid, and a factor that enable Vitamin B 12 to be dissolved through intestinal walls into the circulation.
Gastric juice is a complex mixture of many substances. The predominant enzyme of the stomach, pepsin, is a potent digester of meats and proteins. Another enzyme, rennin, has the sole task of curdling milk. Pepsin is active only in an acid medium. A normal stomach is definitely on the acid side. Hydrochloric acid produced by the stomach cells is a highly corrosive mineral acid."
"The stomach is nearly always free of bacteria"
Next I turned to a great book called "Prescription for Nutritional Healing" by Phyllis A. Balch, CNC. Under the heading "Indigestion" on page 460 we read "If food is not digested properly, it FERMENTS in the stomach and upper intestines, producing hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and organic acids. These acids do not help digestion, but are factors in gas and bloating. Foods high in complex carbohydrates, such as grains and legumes, are the primary foods responsible for gas because they are difficult to digest, and therefore are more likely to yield undigested particles on which the intestinal bacteria act. Undigested food and bacteria present in the gut can produce toxins that can damage the mucosal lining, causing leaky gut syndrome." (Other words used for toxins are: poisons, venom, virus, contagion, bane, and other words use for bane are: evil, cursed, plague, afflicted, destroyer, ruin.)
Page 60 under "Elements of Health", I read: "If proteins are not completely digested, undigested proteins particles may make their way into the bloodstream through the intestinal wall with other nutrients. This phenomenon is known as leaky gut syndrome, and it can result in allergic reactions that may be more or less severe, depending upon the strength of the immune system. This is one reason that proper digestion of proteins is so important.”
Page 309 under "Crohn’s Disease", I read: "Antigenic reactions may result from "leaky gut syndrome," in which minute particles of undigested or partially digested food pass through the swollen and inflamed mucosal wall into the bloodstream, where they cause reactions.”
(In the Hebrew and Chaldee dictionary in which "sick", was a primary root, it cannot be a coincidence that part of this meaning was described as "to glow (with redness)", which is exactly what a swollen and inflamed mucosal wall would look like.)
It is in our ignorance that we have not recognized that different foods require different enzymes for proper digestion. Yes, there are some foods in the same category but each food has a unique chemical makeup. The eating of one food at one time is called monolithic eating. By denying yourself the mixing in of other foods you free up the body’s chemistry to do a perfect job in the digestion process which leads to quick assimilation of nutrients and proper elimination. Which is to say, that each time you add another compatible food your body will be doing less than the perfect job? Do you not think that this way of living is why Jesus referred to John the Baptist as “More than a prophet”?
The problem arises when we mix foods at one meal that are not in the same category. One category of foods require an alkaline enzyme to break it down well another requires an acid enzyme. Think of it like this, if you are cleaning up the acid on your car battery you could use baking soda because baking soda is alkaline and alkaline neutralizes acid. Therefore, when the stomach receives a food that requires hydrochloric acid to digest it along with a food that requires an alkaline enzyme for its digestion the two are neutralized. We know that when your car is in neutral nothing moves. When the food in your stomach is in neutral the only thing that happens is fermentation and rotting. Isaiah used the word putrefaction to describe the injustice done to the body.
The wrong way of eating results in putrefied waste releasing toxic poisons as it moves through my body. Do you think that a steady diet of toxic poisons moving through someone’s intestines could be appropriate describe and considered by Jesus in His use of the word "SICK"?
And where there are toxins there are always parasites.
Here is a small excerpt from a the webpage www.drnatura.com under the heading "What You Must Know About Parasites":
"All the toxins and dead processed foods lead to poor digestion causing a toxic build-up in the body, including the colon. This toxic waste material in the colon then frequently turns into - in the words of National Geographic -
"A sinister world of monstrous creatures that feed on living flesh: Parasites".
Discover Magazine published a feature article in its August 2000 issue: "Every living thing has at least one parasite that lives inside or on it, and many, including humans, have far more, ... Scientists ... are only just beginning to discover exactly how powerful these hidden inhabitants can be, but their research is pointing to a remarkable possibility: Parasites may rule the world. The notion that tiny creatures, we’ve largely taken for granted, are such a dominant force is immensely disturbing. ...We are collections of cells that work together, kept harmonized by chemical signals. If an organism can control those signals - an organism like a parasite - then it can control us. And therein lies the peculiar and precise horror of parasites.”
This is exactly what happened to Saul when God gave him over to an evil spirit.
Eph 5:5 For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Here the word “immoral” in the Hebrew (4205) means: a wound - sore. But the primary root (2115) means: to press down and out:- crush, crushed, squeezed. I have just shown you that the leaky gut syndrome comes from a fermenting process in the stomach, which poisons the body and renders you impure. This syndrome wounds your body and you become red from inflammation. We see in this verse the writer used a, "or" between immoral, impure and covetous, which is to say, if you’re one of them, then you are all of them and you are classed as an idolater.
(NIV) Matt 21:44 He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed.
You have a choice to be broken or crushed, one or the other.
All indigestion is sin, but chronic indigestion is practicing sin, which will transform a heart, rendering the individual, an immoral and impure person, that acts with covetousness to worship something other than God, no matter what he says, or thinks. This person, regardless of his sincerity, has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ.
Christ is not interested in us mining our bodies to dedicate some sacrifice to Him, but rather, to demonstrate charity by understanding and providing the requirements of peace, as it relates to His body. He, being the Doctor, has come to call the sick by supplying the strength needed to be healed, which leads to sanctification.
Until it is the Body.
Romans 12:1 I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
