What do we know about our God that could be considered facts that are undisputed?
We know that he knows all things and knows them before they happen. He knows us completely, what we will choose, how we think, our weaknesses and our potential for good or evil. We know that He sent his son Jesus, the embodiment of his Holy Scriptures to show us the way we are to follow, and His Word that tells us the actions that will take us where He wants us to go. God’s love for his creation was displayed by sending his only Son to be sacrificed in a brutal death, just to give us the ability to be saved. He is a God of details and perfect timing with complete power, yet sensitive to our every need. He knows he needs to speak to us in ways we can understand.
Romans 6:19 I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification.
God, through Paul, is again pulling back the spiritual veil in an attempt to reveal truth to us in worldly human terms, because we are living by the flesh, which has removed our ability to perceive truth in the spiritual realm. A member, in the context of our body, is anything that functions as a part of our body. We have given our members, which is our limbs, organs, and flesh, as slaves, which means they have no choice in the matter of lawlessness as a result of subjecting them to impurities. In our ignorance of what God classifies as impure, we continue to consume, resulting in further lawlessness. As a result, it gives us a compounding effect on our members, which takes our depravity to new lows.
in regards to impurity and lawlessness?
(NASB) Psalms 106:34-39 They did not destroy the people, as the Lord commanded them, but they mingled with the nations, and learned their practices and served they idols, which became a snare to them. They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons, and shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with the blood. Thus they became unclean in their practices, and played the harlot in their deeds.
We have not been trained to recognize how our bodies communicate when they are being poisoned. Satan has made a joke out of the body’s language and we all have had a great laugh. The comedy shows are full of burps, belches, sneezes and loud flatulent sounds. We might feel overfull sometimes at a Christmas dinner or at Thanksgiving, but no one ever told us that all this variety of foods cannot be consumed together. We fall in love and are seduced by all the beautifully prepared dishes and salivate over the great variety of all its wonderful smells. But after the heat of the moment is over we cannot recognize the lawlessness that is caused by indulging our lusts.
It is like the cocktail of poisons which form in our stomach, is someone else’s problem. If only we had someone who would sound the alarm and scream murder. The baby of a nursing mother can do just that. She knows not to drink coffee while she is breast feeding her enfant child but she is perplexed at her colicky child. The poisons which are poisoning her body are also poisoning her milk. We think that there is something wrong with the baby, when actuality, the baby is telling us there is something evil within the mother’s milk. Lawlessness comes from the evil within our bodies and lawlessness is happening in all of our bodies.
Let me paint you a picture of lawlessness so you can relate and sympathize what is taking place inside his members and yours. Think of the worst riot you have ever seen on television, police blooding rioters, gas bombs igniting fires in shops, cars upside down burning with black smoke, glass being smashed with looting and pilfering, rape and indecent assaults happening all over the city and innocent people being shot dead, well the wounded cry out for help. Do you see any peace in this scenario?
When we disobey in these areas, it results in further lawlessness. That is why we are commanded to present our members as slaves to righteousness and / or obedience which results in sanctification. Just as when we presented our members to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, we now turn and obey by presenting our members to righteousness, resulting in further righteousness. It is this accumulative process, by obeying the laws that govern that takes us onto winning the prize, eternal life.
Romans 6:22 But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.
Grace is the free gift, and when applied you derive your benefit, which frees you from sin and enslaves you to God, as long as you use time to overcome. It is in the actions of receiving the benefits of Christ’s work that results in sanctification / repentance / circumcision of the heart, that eternal life is granted. It is going through this formula here on earth, which brings us to the outcome of eternal life. For, eternal life is the prize, not the gift.
(NASB) Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
“Free Gift”, #5486 is defined as religious qualification and to grant as a favor. In other words, if you obey, you will become qualified to ask for the favor of eternal life. Sanctification allows you to be in a position to ask for eternal life. It is a free gift, because without the grace extended to us, we could never be in a position to ask.
(NIV) 1 Thes 4:3 It is God’s will that you be sanctified...
(NASB) 1 Thes 4:3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is’ that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor.
2 Thes 2:13 …God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.
Our loving heavenly Father wills that we are sanctified. Why? If we are not pursuing sanctification, we will not be able to see the Lord. In others words, you can read your Bible all you want and never see or understand what Jesus is communicating.
Heb 12:14 Purse peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.
It is only when you are on this road called sanctification that more and more enlightenment comes. This is not an option, but a command, because he wants his best for each one of his children. The Christian Churches today operate as if God commands sanctification, but has never shown or told us how to become sanctified. God said, “BE sanctified, not work at it until I complete the process by taking you to heaven.”
1 Thes 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Sanctification needs to be completed before the coming of our Lord, so that our spirit, soul and body may be preserved completely, because it becomes our token of good faith which invokes Christ’s covenant. It appears to me as if we like to think of this purification process as something we can take or leave.
We have allowed Satan to convince us that whatever we do will be so insignificant to our holy transformation, that we discourage ourselves from obeying God’s definition of this process called sanctification. God is not going to give us the directive to be sanctified and not make it clear whose responsibility it is to see it through, or the geography where it is completed.
Heb 12:3 For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you may not grow weary and lose heart.
You must prepare your heart to believe. Understanding that our great loving heavenly Father, when he gives a command to be sanctified, is also going to give you, not only the exact details on how to accomplish so you can receive the benefits, but the consequences of the noncompliance. Think about what we are asked to believe, would I command my child to act on a word that he could not comprehend, unless I explained fully what was expected of him. Would I not, out of my love for him, explain the wonderful benefits of complying, and also warn him of the consequences of disregarding them? If we who are evil, know how to treat our children with love, how much more the one whose essence is love, will treat the object of his affection?
Matt 7:11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
God is telling us we are evil, so let us understand He has given us His greatest gift, so that we may use it to overcome our evil.
Heb 10:12 ...but He, having offered one sacrifice for sin for all time, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD, waiting from that time onward UNTIL HIS ENEMIES BE MADE A STOOD STOOL FOR HIS FEET. For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying, “THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM. AFTER THOSE DAYS, (after the days of sanctification are completed) SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS UPON THEIR HEART, AND ON THEIR MINDS I WILL WRITE THEM,” He then says, “AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE.” (Without being sanctified, Christ will remember our sins and lawless deeds.)
Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary is an offering of flesh and blood and because it was always complete in its integrity, it was accepted by the Father. The Father’s love was reflected in that He connected all sins from all people to this one perfect sacrifice. Christ’s actions allowed Him to broker a new covenant with us because He is now covering our position of sin. Since Christ paid the debt, He holds the paper on each one of us. Christ’s new deal needed a component of grace because it would take time to comply with His terms and conditions.
Should we believe that we have a need which His offer can address, we would secure that which is promised by entering into the covenant. Now, if there is nothing required on our part to take hold of His promise, no covenant or grace would be necessary. After Jesus completed His transaction with the Father, by His sacrifice on the cross, He sat down at the right hand side of His Father, waiting from that time onward, to see who will believe. If we choose to believe, we examine the covenant to understand what is being asked for on our part. If we misinterpreted the contract or chose not to believe, we become enemies of the cross because we never completed repentance.
It is this next sentence that is so very crucial to whether you will comprehend what it is which you are being asked for, to fulfill your side of the covenant. The NIV Bible says “those who are being made holy” and if you choose to believe this, you most likely are waiting for your sanctification process to be completed in heaven, but you will end up a foot stool. The NAS Bible says “those who are sanctified”, it is past tense. Jesus Christ offered Himself one time for all sin, and in doing so, perfected for all time only those who demonstrated they believed His offering by completing sanctification.
Not only does the Lord confirm his timing for his conditions relative to our actions, but provides a second testimony through the Holy Spirit. The Spirit confirms that there is a contract, but it will only be made “after those days”. After what days? The Spirit is verifying that it is going to take a number of days to finish the work of sanctification. It is after those days, that the covenant is made with us, because our hearts and minds have been prepared by time to receive His laws, and in doing so; these actions fulfill our obligations to the covenant. When you couple these actions of obedience in our life with Christ’s sacrifice, the results are perfection, and our sins and lawless deeds He will remember no more.
is to never enter into His covenant.
Exodus 19:10 And the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. Have them wash their cloths and be ready by the third day, because on that day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.
We know that the Old Testament is a foreshadow of what is to come. Moses has just brought these people out of the world and they all chose to follow Moses out into the desert for the purpose of celebrating a feast to God.
Exodus 5:1 …“Let My people go that they may celebrate a feast to Me in the wilderness.”
At a feast, something is being consumed and someone is doing the consuming. If we were holding the feast we might kill or sacrifice the fatten calf and then consume it. The Lord God of Israel will have the pleasure of this feast and as such, it is we who are to be killed or sacrificed.
Exodus 5:3 “…Please, let us go a three day journey into the wilderness that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God, lest He fall upon us with pestilence or with the sword.”
At this time in the Old Testament they had flocks of animals which were used in the sacrifices; a physical happening representing what was needed to be given in our own physical lives.
It matters not what time period we are in, God’s word always provides a prophet to tell us what is about to happen and to clarify where most of us will be at, in the outcome. Zechariah was called on by God to speak to the people of that day, that this sword missed those who had been keeping His feasts for the last seventy years, in Chapter 7.
Zech 7:2 Now Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regem-Melech and their men to seek the favor of the Lord, speaking to the priests who belong to the house of the Lord of hosts, and to the prophets saying, “Shall I weep in the fifth month and abstain, as I have done these many years?”
These men that had been brought through this horrendous time were now well motivated to seek the favor of the Lord. Nevertheless, it was not the priests or the prophets who responded to this question of their devotion. Keep in mind that many things are being revealed to us through this dialogue and one of the big ones is what these feasts look like and what they will achieve when combined properly.
Zech 7:4-5 Then the word of the Lord of host came to me: “Say to all the people of the land and to the priest, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months these seventy years, was it actually for Me that you fasted?’ ”
A feast to the Lord is an extended period of time whereby one would fast, weep in spirit and mourn in heart. Note that it was also the so called priests and the prophets that needed the answer as well, because they too where in violation and had not produced the proper outcome.
Zech 7:6 ‘And when you eat and drink, do you not eat for yourselves and do you not drink for yourselves?’
Most of them only appeared to be following God’s directives by their partial observing of His appointed feasts. As a result, they pleased themselves by neglecting their obligation in their day to day and their week to week. This same horrendous time of judgment was prophesied by Ezekiel for the future and the sword and pestilence was to take a great toll on the population. Ezekiel in his pointing out what God is going to do for them at this time also verifies that it is we who are this animal that need to be sacrificed regularly at God’s appointed feasts.
Eze 36:37-38 ‘Thus says the Lord God, “This also I will let the house of Israel ask Me to do for them: I will increase their men like a flock. Like the flock for sacrifices, like the flock at Jerusalem during her appointed feasts, so will the waste cities be filled with flocks of men. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”
We Are The Animals That Are To Be Sacrificed At God’s Appointed Feasts.
What is the elite priesthood doing?
Eze 44:24 They shall also keep My Laws and My statutes in all My appointed feast, and sanctify My Sabbaths.
It is in the doing of denying your flesh that transforms you into this elite group. Ezekiel in Chapter 45, not only clarifies for us God’s three classes of people in His chosen group but in Verse 17, gives us four headings of these times of denying your flesh.
Eze 45:17-25 “And it shall be the prince’s part to provide the burnt offerings, the grain offerings, and the libations, at the feasts, on the new moons, and on the Sabbaths, at all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel; …
Make no mistake, a prince is a priest in waiting, that is, waiting on the Lord to transform him, or a growing up of what God intended him to be.
Luke 12:42 And the Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and sensible steward, whom his master will put in charge of his servants, to give them their rations at the proper time? Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes. Truly I say to you, that he will put him in charge of all his possessions.”
In Chapter 7 of Zechariah, Verse 7, the Lord tells them that He sent the former prophets, which had told of this before this destruction of Jerusalem. So now that God has your undivided and complete attention He will try telling you again.
Zech 7:8-9 Then the word of the Lord came to Zechariah saying, “Thus has the Lord of hosts said, ‘Dispense (8199) true (571) justice, (4941) and practice (6213) kindness (2617) and compassion (7356) each to his brother; (251) and do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.’
In the past, these seemly straight forward words have painted the wrong picture, and as a result we have no idea of the practical instructions. In other words, God gave us over to a depraved mind to wax worse.
Lam 2:6 …The Lord has caused to be forgotten the appointed feast and Sabbath in Zion.
Nevertheless, it is in the root meanings of our translated words that we can arrive at a completely different picture, one which will take us on to victory, in that we may keep our crown. Keep in mind that all scripture must come under the supreme context which Jesus frames up for us in Matthew Chapter 23, Verse 25 and 26.
Matt 23:25-26 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisees! First clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may become clean also.”
Here is the Hebrew and Chaldee Dictionary meaning that gives us the picture for the words used in Zech 7:8-9. Dispense (8199) a primary root; to judge ie. Pronounce sentence (for or against) by extension to govern; passively to litigate. Litigate means; to contest in a lawsuit.
True (571) a primary word; a mother (as the bond of the family); in a wide sense (both literally and figurative)
Justice (4941) from 8199; prop. a verdict (favorable or unfavorable) pronounced judicially, especially a sentence or formal decree (human or [participle] divine law, individual or collective), includes the act, the place, the suit, the crime, and the penalty; abstract Justice, includes a particular right, or privilege, or even a style: - adversary, ceremony, charge x crime, custom, determination, disposing, judgment, ordinance, right, sentence.
Practice (6213) a primary root; to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application (as follows); - accomplish, advance, appoint, become, bear, bestow, bring forth, bruise, have the charge of, (ready) dressed, execute, exercise, fashion, + feast, hold ([a feast]), maintain, procure, provide, x sacrifice, serve, trim, workman, yield, use.
Kindness (2617) from 2616; kindness; by implication (towards God) piety; rarely (by opp.) reproof, or (subject) beauty: - favor, good deed (-liness), loving kindness,
2616 - a primary root prop. perhaps to bow (the neck only [comp2603] in courtesy to an equal) to reprove; - show self merciful, put to shame.
2603 - a primary root [comp. 2588] prop. to bend or stoop in kindness to an inferior, be merciful, have pity upon.
2588 - a primary root; prop. To incline; by impliedly to decline (of the slanting rays of evening); specially to pitch a tent; generally to encamp (for a abode or siege): - abide (in tents), camp, grow to end, lie, rest in tent.
Compassion (7356) from 7355; compassionate (in the plural); by extension the womb (as cherishing the fetus); by implication a maiden: - bowels, compassion, mercy, pity, womb.
7355 a primary root; to fondle; by implication to love, mercy, having pity.
Each (376) contracted For 582 [or perhaps rather from an unused root meaning to be extant]; a man as a individual or male person; often used as an adjunction to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently not expressed in translation.
5822 - man, people, person, servant, some (x of them)
Brother (251) - a primary word; a brother (used in the widest sense of literal relationship and metaph. Affinity or resemblance [like 1]: another, brother (-ly), kindred, like, other.
So what is the true picture that God is expressing through Zechariah in Chapter 7, taking the root meanings of these words directly out of the Hebrew dictionary, and allowing them to be applied internally? That is, understanding that they are speaking about our guts and organs.
Zech 7:8-9 (Dispense) Judge yourself by means of litigation for the purpose of pronouncing a sentence; (Prove to yourself by means of a precise factual collection of truth) (True) do this from the standpoint of a mother who purpose is to keep the family together. (Your objective is harmony within your own members) (Justice) Your verdict must be based and come from divine law, breaking down for the perpetrator the act, the place, the suit, the crime, and the penalty for his choices. (I must identify how and where I am going against God’s laws and understand the repercussions of such actions.) (Kindness) Become a workman by holding a feast to accomplish sacrifice, serving up loving kindness towards God by bowing the neck and bending the knee to an inferior, in that which you gave Him, (When you obey you will rest your body, as a result you sacrifice what you could do for what God wants to do with the things inside that you consider inferior.) (Compassion) yourself as the maiden, (To let God work is to show compassion for yourself as the weaker.) (Each) (Brother) that encompasses all other members that have come together to make you complete. (Your whole body is the beneficiary.) The people of Zechariah’s day refused to pay attention, were stubborn, and stopped their ears from hearing. They made their hearts like flint; therefore, great wrath came from the Lord.
Zech 7:11-12 “But they refused to pay attention, and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears from hearing. “And they made their hearts like flint so that they could not hear the law and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from the Lord of hosts.”
The Lord of hosts by His Spirit has caused me to see and to warn this generation. Do not be foolish in thinking He is going to be a long time in coming!
Luke 12:45 “But if that slave says in his heart, ‘My master will be a long time in coming,’ and begins to beat the slaves, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk; the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him, and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces, and assign him a place with the unbelievers.
However, if we believe in our hearts that Christ’s Day of Judgment is a long ways off, we will “party on” with the scribes and Pharisees and all the other hypocrites. This doing what we feel like attitude beats our slaves because in our eating and drinking we show them no mercy.
We do not understand that our thinking must come from somewhere by some means. These slaves are the means by which we will make a judgment and either be, “cut to pieces and assigned a place with unbelievers” or know what to believe to have the strength to overcome and do what pleases the Master.
2 Thes 2:10 …and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. And for this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false.
Why do we believe what is false? Is it because God gives us over to a depraved mind to have this “deluding influence”? Deluding means; a mistaken or misleading opinion, idea, belief, etc. A belief held in the face of evidence to the contrary, that is resistant to all reason. I am giving you overwhelming evidence to the contrary, so put away your sword and stop resisting reason.
Rev 18:23 because all the nations were deceived by your sorcery.
After receiving and establishing this intimate love relationship, your actions will look after the widow or the orphan, the stranger or the poor; and if maintained you will not devise evil in your heart against anyone because when the inside is clean “the outside of it may become clean”.
Zech 8:19 Thus says the Lord of host, “The fast of the fourth, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth months will become joy, gladness, and cheerful feasts for the house of Judah; so love truth and peace.”
Feast (4150) (2 Chron 8:13) from 3259; prop. an appointment, ie. A fixed time or season; as appointed beforehand, a place of solemn assembly. 3259 - a primary root; to fix upon by appointment; by implication to meet at a stated time, to summon to trial, to engage for marriage: - agree, betroth, meet together.
Jude 1:12 These men are those who are hidden reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you without fear, caring for themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, doubly dead, uprooted; waves of the sea, casting up their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the black darkness has been reserved forever.
Jude is not talking to the insincere babes in Christ, but to those who are going through or have gone through the requirements that the word of God demands for the completion of repentance. When God calls us to a feast, it is a love feast to prepare for marriage. Initially, we come in fear, but as we grow it becomes respect. When I come to my future Husband I know He loves me tender. I show my love / respect to Him by giving myself over to be consumed by Him. As His hands caress my body, removing that which hinders, He awakens my passion and flames my desire to consume His blood and His body (John 6:54-56). Each time we meet my love grows deeper as He gives me more of Himself. Now that is an intimate love relationship! If you will / can maintain this intimate union, it will only be a matter of time until a new child will be born in you.
We are each being consumed by the other!
We don’t like to be consumed; therefore, we have no fear of God and we are repulsed by the thought of eating His flesh and drinking His blood.
Heb 13:9 Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace not by foods, through which those who were thus occupied were not benefited.
This choice by the Israelites to take a three day journey into the desert to hold a feast to the Lord removed them from the world’s influence and started them on God’s journey to Zion. God, in His love for them, had them pinned against the Red Sea to position his nation for baptism. His people went safely through and under the water witnessing the literal washing away of the world behind them. And the force that held them for years was broken, as the entire Egyptian army was swept away. But there was something more they needed to do before God was going to come down and show himself to them. They needed to consecrate themselves for two days, making ready and waiting for God to show himself to them sometime in the third day. Could this outward preparation before meeting God be to symbolize some inward consecration that he requires of all his children? Is it possible today, that we have come out of the world, been baptized and yet have never seen God in his completeness?
Well let’s look at some New Testament verses that will shed light.
2 Tim 2:20-21 Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels , but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor. Therefore, if a man cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.
God is telling us that in each of our mature bodies, that are the older, larger houses, we have two types of vessels. These vessels are just utensils, which are at our disposal, used to hold things that will worship and glorify God, and utensils that if not removed will serve only to discredit the Master.
Consecration is the act of cleaning out of the body, and the discarding of that which blocks us from giving what God demands; worship.
Sanctified is the term used to describe the finished work of consecration. The person must take the initiative to see that the job is done, but this by no means suggests that he cannot utilize what Jesus has provided to complete this task.
It was Moses who was asked by God to go to the people and instruct them to wash their clothes. This instruction on how to wash their clothes was just the knowledge of the gospel of Christ. God did not ask Moses to go and wash their clothes. No, the responsibility fell squarely on the individual, once he has the knowledge, to obey and wash his own clothes. Remember, Moses was a typology of Christ and if you believe Jesus does something more, that allows you to place the responsibility back on Him, you are sadly mistaken.
If it is required of me to open an iron door, it would be foolish of me to think I will break it down with my shoulder. The wise thing to do, if I do not possess the key, would be to recognize that I have no means in and of myself to reach the objective. Therefore, to search for the key would be prudent. Once the key is found and the operation is completed, this word of God tells us that we will be vessels for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good works.
Luke 11:52 “Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; you did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering you hindered.”
Our Christian leaders / Church today have given up on going through this door, out of ignorance and pride, because they cannot break it down nor do they possess the key. Consequently, the ones we trust, in order to appear to be worthy, place their own spin on consecration, and so they make believe that they and you are useful to the Master, when in fact all are enemies of the cross.
Eph 4:21-24 ...if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lust of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
Where is the evidence that you have laid aside the old self and have been renewed in the spirit of your mind? Jesus stands knocking on the other side of this door with the knowledge and the strength you need to find the key, but it is you by faith, who will take what He offers and wash your own clothes, that opens the door.
Phi 2:12-16 So then my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Do all things without grumbling or disputing; that you may prove yourself to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may have cause to glory because I did not run in vein nor toil in vein.
If salvation comes by a quick and sincere prayer, there is no need to “work out your salvation with fear and trembling” because it is done in a mater of a few minutes.
A true theology must incorporate and flow with all scriptures, and not after we bastardized the ones we don’t like. It is true that fear and trembling gives way to love as our motivator and anchor, once sanctification is completed. But remember, in the beginning, it was love that allowed you in your ignorance to progress in the way of your choosing. God’s love gives you more of what your actions are showing Him you want. Fear and trembles should be the results of understanding exactly how God’s love works, and is given to carry us through this time of purification.
We are not to grumble, or argue when the Spirit of God wants to do its work in us, but to submit, that we, if we submit, may prove ourselves to be blameless and innocent. You prove yourself by submitting, that His love may take you on to His good pleasure, where the outcome is you appearing as lights in a dark world. God’s love will do whatever you want to submit to, but do not think that this love only transports you one way.
Rev 3:4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes, they will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed the white.
For all reading John’s Revelation must be baffled by his word “worthy” in his context. The word “worthy” places the onus directly on the ones who wish to overcome and allows no wiggle room as to where the responsibility lies. The meaning of this word “worthy” collides head on with our understanding of the meanings of our words believe and faith, in the context which our flesh has held them. But by the Spirit of God, this book shows you how you can reconcile the two positions without eroding either one or contaminating your theology by works.
If there are only a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes, then this scripture is telling me, that most of us have soiled our clothes. We know God is not talking about the physical strips of cloth that cover my body, because I wash them daily. All we know is this; “something” has become soiled, that it covers, and that it needs washing. We know there are only two parts to all of us, the physical and the spiritual, so one of the two needs washing. Our spiritual is wrapped up in the physical; therefore, it is our physical flesh that needs the washing. We cannot see that we are soiled but we come, which shows we believe, and by faith we believe God to do the work in us because we have no idea how it can be accomplished. Of course, not in our own strength, for we have no strength to defeat our flesh.
In 2 Cor 5:4 the writer leaves no doubt what these clothes represent when he said, “For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling.”
We are spirit, and for awhile we are clothed in this tent and for some reason we do not like the thought of giving up what we know, for what we are asked to believe. All of us who have lived past the age of accountability are responsible for our soiled clothes, and should we choose to forego this cleansing process, we will not be worthy.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.
This is not some passive state that you spiritually arrive at or enter into by a fussy feeling at the end of your church service, but rather an active engagement where you have the responsibility to come and submit and receive the unmerited favor that allows you to persevere to complete the task. It is then and only then, that you have the right to the tree of life, by the grace of God.
Don’t be fooled. Satan, by appealing to the flesh, will provide other ways which appear to wash your robes and place you in the city, but these methods bypass the gates of grace and give no access to the tree of life.
Malachi 3:2 But who can endure the day of his coming? For he will be like the refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness, and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the Lord, as in days gone by, as in former years.
“In the day of His coming” speaks of a specific period of time in which He will show himself as a fire to some and a launderer’s soap to others. Using a refiner’s fire would take a longer time period, based on the extent of the impurities, to completely remove the dross. On the other hand, to some it will only require a little soap and water to finish the job because these are either little children or have been born again. Eventually, no matter which category you are in, you will bring offerings in righteousness.
These actions of cleaning by soap and water are all that is necessary to wash this new child that you died to bare. You overcame this unpleasant time to complete sanctification.
Rev 3:21 “He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
The word “overcomes” which would suggest a period of time that may not be all that pleasant.
John 16:21 A women giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world.
Jesus gave this picture to all his disciples which can include you. This unpleasant period of time that leads up to you, as this new child being born, will be forgotten because of the joy, from here on, you will know in this world. And what is this joy?
John 16:22 So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
When you as this new child are born again, you will see Jesus clearly, and understand him completely, never needing to ask him anything, because your sight has answered everything. Seeing Jesus clearly, is working with Jesus, where the Father is working and that is in the center of His will for you. “In that day” refers to this time period immediately following your new birth. This new birth through pain and anguish is reaping the rewards of perseverance. The old mind set has passed away; the ignorance you called knowledge, the uncertainty of truth, the spirit of stupor with all the mysteries of the gospel. (Eph 6:19) Turn to the end of Luke, Chapter 24 and Verse 45 and understand where Jesus’ disciples had been, that is carrying and developing this new child. They finally arrived at this time in their lives where this transformation in their minds was about to come to fruition.
Luke 24:44 Now He said to them, “These are my words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about me in the Law of Moses and the prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures…
But just a few days earlier, in Chapter 24, the knowledge conveyed to them through the woman, by way of the angel at the tomb, was nonsense, and they would not believe them.
Luke 24:11 And the words appeared to them as nonsense, and they would not believe them.
The Bible directs us to do all things in “the name of Christ” but if we are not in His nature, then we cannot claim to be in the confines of this qualifier. If it is not in Christ’s Name by His strength, then it is in your name by your strength and that is called “works”. The point is that two people can do the exact same good deed out of love, one will remain for eternity and the other will not be recognized even though both recipients will be blessed (Matt 7:21-23). Don’t think for one minute that the five foolish virgins were not doing good deeds (Matt 25:1-13).
Repentance is completed in different lengths of time for different people, just like the natural human births. Nobody gets pregnant and gives birth tomorrow. But when conception has come to full term, one day you go from that which is hidden, to that which is your treasure, from that which is a mystery, to that which is known.
Col 1:25-27 Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations; but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Col 2:3 …in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
There is no greater joy than to be operating from the center of God’s Will, because when you ask, you receive.
Jer 6:27 “I have made you an assayer and a tester among My people, that you may know and assay their way.”
And when this time of joy is completed He will give you the honor to be able to walk with him dressed in white because Jesus has called you worthy. The question is not “what needs washing” but how can it be washed and how long does it take?
Psalms 27:13 I am still confident in this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
The Israelites persevered through this unpleasant time of washing. They were being strong and taking heart as they waited in the third day to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, not the land of heaven. They overcame by persevering through discipline over time, and God did not disappoint them. The Israelites, just like David, were waiting with expectations of seeing God. After you see God, you see his goodness, and when you see his goodness it renews your strength, because you have less doubt through greater insight. This understanding leads us to a practical application that positions us to receive a larger proportion of his goodness.
John 13:10 Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” “Then Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!” Jesus answered, “A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.”
We must place the clothes in the washing machine but it is the soap and water which cleans. It is very clear that Jesus is the one who will be doing the cleansing. There are two separate cleanses; the complete washing followed by a periodical washing of only the feet. Simon Peter had all the attributes needed to be Jesus’ disciple and his whole body was clean, yet he still required this “washing of his feet”. The feet represent the part of the body that becomes soiled as it carries us through this polluted world.
We know that Jesus’ Spirit was supplying grace and his power was operating in them in varying degrees. This washing was an essential requirement for keeping them in the parameters of righteousness and holy living. When the time of consecration is completed and we have come to the full definition of being called a “believer” our bodies are still getting dirty. We still have need for the grace of God and His plans to keep us clean. It is only His Spirit that works inside us which can bring us to the state of humility required not only to will, but to receive His washing. If we will not humbly surrender to our King and Lord and be taken captive, we will not be spared.
Jer 38:17 Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, “This is what the Lord God Almighty, the God of Israel, says: ‘If you surrender to the officers of the king of Babylon, your life will be spared and this city will not be burned down; you and your family will live.
First, the body receives a complete bath and is clean. But this washing of the feet was only to symbolize a small cleansing of the internal parts of the body that have again become polluted. Jesus understood the connection between the feet and water and how His Devine energy would play out in keeping His disciples pure. Therefore, for us to wash each others feet or as Jesus put it to Simon Peter “Feed my lambs” or “Take care of my sheep”, we are commanded to show them and lead them to where they to can be washed by Jesus. This “showing” can only be accomplished through sharing the knowledge of the goodness of God, and this “leading” would be to guide them into implementing the practical steps. But of course, unless the Spirit is working to humble them, they cannot be shown or lead.
They were commanded to wait for the Holy Spirit’s power to come upon them, and before Jesus was to leave them, He graciously made clear of the need for this washing. For the Spirit’s power upon you one day, does not automatically guarantee it for tomorrow. Power comes from purity and not from position.
Matt 23:25 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisees! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.”
We now know that we started out clean, not sinless, and have become soiled on the inside of our bodies. And as we walk in this world, even doing God’s will, we will become partially soiled or polluted again.
We now know that if we want God to reveal himself to us we must have Jesus, our high priest, wash the inside of our complete bodies and continue to wash some parts of our body periodically. Jesus is telling us that if we can overcome and receive his washing on the inside, that action will automatically produce holy actions on the outside. In other words, if Jesus cleans us on the inside, we act like Jesus on the outside.
1 Cor 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?
After we have given our lives to Jesus Christ, he makes our bodies his Holy temple. Christ wants his Holy temple sanctified and he wants us to allow him to cleanse it periodically. Something has come into our bodies and come over our bodies that we did not have when we were young.
Something is polluting His Temple. Something is there that was never meant to be there. This something must be identified and barred from entering His temple. And the process of expelling must start.
God’s Holy Word has just given us our next lead, we now know that our bodies are no longer our bodies, but his Holy Temple, and therefore, each time His Word speaks of the Temple, God is telling us something about our bodies.
For most of you this fact will be a monumental jump that you must make or risk missing God’s best. If you think about this, it is a brilliant way to convey the truth, yet seal the truth, for without faith how do you make this leap? And even if you make this jump of faith, without God giving you the understanding to see how the analogy corresponds to your body, you will terminate this line of thinking.
Luke 11:41 “But give that which is within as charity, and then all things are clean.”
Jesus was talking to the Pharisees about the body when he addressed them, for the benefit of all who would fit into this disparity. This is not talking about finding it in our hearts to give to that homeless person that comes across our path, or to place our charity into the bowl at Christmas time. If I give that which is within my body as charity, I must discontinue the drawing of the benefits from that which returned pleasure, for I have lost the ownership.
If I continue to use everything that lies beneath the skin for the purpose of something other than what the new owner directs, I have not given it away and the outcome is gratification of the flesh, resulting in lawlessness. However, this one action, when it is completed, needs no other consideration, for it is the root of all the symptoms, which makes all things clean.
Eze 7:22 I will turn my face away from them, and they will desecrate my treasured place; robbers will enter it and desecrate it.
This treasured place is referring to Jerusalem’s Temple, your body. It is time we accepted the Father’s discipline so that His face may turn back to us and remove us from reaping the curses of disobedience. Repentance is a 180 degree turn, a time of coming back from desecration; a time to rebuild the wall, a time to rebuild the temple, that the glory of the Lord may dwell in you. Acts 3:19
Heb 12:4-6 You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin; and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons, “My son, DO NOT REGARD LIGHTY THE DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD, NOR FAINT WHEN YOU ARE REPROVED BY HIM; FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES, AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES.”
There are many things which one forgets, do to the facts that either the event never happened, or what happened never left a deep enough mark. This discipline or reprove is going to cause you to become physically weak but don’t faint, rejoice! The sons whom God receives can never forget their scourging for the event tore flesh from their bodies and left a deep impression in their minds. No scourging, no receiving!
John 2:15 So He (Jesus) made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both cattle and sheep; He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
The cattle and the sheep and the money changers represent something in our bodies that we know is not designed to be there, just like the Temple was not designed to have the cattle and sheep or the money changers inside it. We know that the money changers would not have been there except that the live offerings were there.
This is a Quote from the Book “The Cure for all Diseases” “All sickness and diseases come from the presence of pollutants and parasites”.
Some of you are thinking right now, “Is he going to ask me to take another leap of faith and consider that this is what God is trying to tell me?” Well, I am glad to see you are starting to get the picture, and yes this is exactly what I’m asking of you.
Let us take a moment to summarize what we know about sanctification.
It is non-negotiable; God wants all to be sanctified. We know it is a cleansing and purifying process which takes place in the body over a specific amount of time. We know it is pollutants and parasites that are causing sickness and diseases and the body was not designed to house them. And we know that Jesus is going to clean them out with a complete bath and afterwards keep washing the parts that become contaminated as we operate within His will on this earth. We know that the outside can never be clean if we live with a polluted inside, because we have a law of attraction working against us. We have some idea on how to stop taking in the pollutants and if there are no pollutants the parasites will leave, just the way the money changers would have left if the sacrifices were gone. The only thing we don’t know is how Jesus is going to remove the existing pollutants so this law of attraction can start working for us. But remember, Christ braided a whip and scourged His temple!
If this is true, how did we get so far off course?
2 Chr 24:17 After the death of Jehoiada, the official of Judah came and paid homage to the king, and he listened to them.
Eze 11:11-12 “I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel. And you will know that I am the Lord, for you have not followed my decrees or kept my laws but have conformed to the standards of the nations around you.”
After Jesus’ death the Christian leaders started listening to the kings of this world who deceived them.
2 Chr 24:18 They abandoned the temple of the Lord, the God of their fathers, and worshiped Asherah poles and idols. Because of their guilt, God’s anger came upon Judah and Jerusalem.
They went away from God’s design for the maintenance of his temple and abandoned the worship of God through His temple. They traded the blessing of God for the curse because of their guilt from their idolatry. Today, we also have been lead away, by abandoning the decrees and laws which are designed to keep our temples functioning in the will of God, and by adopting the art of sorcery through drugs to alleviate the effects of the curse. These potions with their spells have blinded us to the truth by hardening our hearts.
Eze 2:3 He said: “Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me; they and their fathers have been in revolt against me to this very day. The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’ And whether they listen or fail to listen - for they are a rebellious house - they will know that a prophet has been among them.
Eze 2:7 But the house of Israel is not willing to listen to you because they are not willing to listen to me, for the whole house of Israel is hardened and obstinate.
Ezekiel, by way of the Spirit, is recording for us the future. Do not be foolish enough to think this is not directed at us today. The whole Christian community, this very day, is in revolt because Satan has worked to harden our hearts and close our minds. If you have not already had any satanic attack in your reading so far, prepare for one now. For if Satan ever loses this battle in your mind, over who you are representing in God’s Word, it will produce a crack in his cocoon that he has about you. Even a small crack will allow the light to bust it wide open and place you on the road to receiving power through knowledge and understanding.
2 Chr 24:19 Although the Lord sent prophets to the people to bring them back to him, and though they testified against them, they would not listen. “This is what the Lord says: ‘Why do you disobey the Lord’s commands? You will not prosper. Because you have forsaken the Lord, he has forsaken you.’ ”
Before God made everything, he established laws that would govern all things that he made.
Genesis 1:31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.
What was very good? All that He created, the physical world and everything living in it.
He needed laws to hold things in place and set parameters and established how all things would interact with one another. These commands and statutes not only hold all things together, but gives all things the ability to continue in time for their specific purpose.
You are operating in God’s world and whether you like it or not, His laws will govern you. Only when you position yourself to receive a renewing of the mind, can this understanding and knowledge be embraced, releasing power to submit to all of God’s directives, which brings you ever closer in tune with the symphony that is going on around you. This process was hidden and buried under and in the demands of righteousness which the Old Testament laws, precepts, stipulations and decrees revealed to us.
Gal 3:24 Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ that we may be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
Romans 8:2-4 ...because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.
We were powerless to overcome sin and death, even though we had the knowledge of what was required. God offers, through His sacrifice to us, to off load all our sins onto Jesus to eliminate that which was working to separate us from Him.
So, God in his goodness sent His only son to strengthen those that understood what the Old Testament directives were demanding. Jesus strengthens us through His gracious loving act of taking our punishment and paying off our debt of sin. What kind of love sends a son to died for someone else and how can one turn his back on the love expressed by the sinless one who died? This Spirit of life which sets me free from the law of sin and death has a qualifier; a prerequisite. It is only to those people who understand how the sinful nature is operating in them that will be able to utilize and apply Jesus’ strengthening to overcome. If you don’t know then you are not working to apply!
Romans 8:6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set of the flesh is hostile towards God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not able to do so; and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
The Spirit of life will supply the knowledge, the strength and the power, if I choose to closely follow Jesus’ example. Jesus is our leader which we can take heart in because He has overcome and sits at the right hand of the Father making intersession for us. But we must exercise faith, by obeying, even though we may not want to comply until we know why it is necessary. This stubborn attitude keeps us from the knowledge of the actions needed.
Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Again, it is by faith, we see His righteous right hand lifted high for us and his strength takes us onto victory. Like it was for Abraham, it will be for us, Genesis 15:6 “Abram believed the Lord, and he credit it to him as righteousness.”
Abram demonstrated that he believed the Lord, not by strengthening his flesh, which would have served only to deceive himself. Abram kept his eyes on the Lord, as he launched out in a direction which otherwise would have been illogical. Or, the children of Israel when Moses stood all day in their view with his hands held high to secure the victory over the Amalekites. It is now that the law of Christ, with His strength, which sets us free to follow the path which seems to be irrational, that believing might be fulfilled and completed in us.
(NASB) James 2:14-26 What use is it, my brother, if a man says he has faith, but he has no works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you say to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself. But some may well say, “You have faith, and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar? You see that faith was working with his works, and as a results of the works, faith was perfected; and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness,” and he was called the friend of God. You see that a man is justified by works, and not by faith alone. And in the same way was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works, when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.
It is in the action of continually marching in a seemingly unintelligent posture that authenticates faith.
(NASB) Romans 4:4-5 Now to the one who works, his wage is not reckoned as a favor, but as what is due. But to the one how does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness.
Both these men started out wicked and both are working. The difference is one man believes he is accomplishing what God requires by his own strength, seated in his will of logic. The other man by faith, believes and achieves, by looking to Christ’s uplifted hands for his strength to do what, in his mind, originates in the absurd. It was a different mind set which they brought to their work, based on the knowledge they chose to believe, that justified the one man and condemn the other. “Works” here refers to an attitude of self reliance; therefore, the man who does not work in this attitude of self reliance is accomplishing his goal with a complete trust on something outside of himself. The man who did not work, did not accomplish his goal, of following in steps of faith, by sitting on his hands.
Therefore, do not confuse the issue by thinking one stood still and one moved. It was in their choice of direction that one man had to move by faith and trust in something he did not understand, at the time, to arrive at the place of blessing where he could understand the difference.
Romans 4:12 …and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also follow in the steps of faith of our father Abraham which he had while uncircumcised.
Once this process of consecration has been completed to the standard God deems is holy, every note you play is pure and in harmony, because you have chosen to be purified and come under his authority. If you want God to allow you to operate through His law of love, as Peter did, you must first learn to submit and embrace the directives which transforms you.
The devil has deceived us into thinking that we can act contrary to God’s laws / sciences, and still receive God’s blessings. He has been operating just under the radar through our stomachs which ultimately robs us of power and holiness.
This is where we find ourselves today rejecting His blessings and using the world’s sorceries in an attempt to circumvent the curses in all their manifestations.
Rev 9:21 …And they did not repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their immorality, nor of their thefts.
Gal 5:19-24 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outburst of anger, disputes, dissensions factions, envying drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you just as I have forewarned you that those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Sorceries (5331) – from 5332, medication (“pharmacy”) (by extension) magic (literally or figurally) witchcraft 5332 – (a drug, i.e. spell giving potion; a druggist (“pharmacist”) or poisoner
Rev 18:23 …and the light of a lamp will not shine in you any longer; and the voice of the bridegroom and bride will not be heard in you any longer; for your merchants were the great men of the earth, because all the nations were deceived by your sorcery.
The merchants, who were the great men of the earth, will have no one left in their country to be a witness for the truth of the gospel because they deceived everyone by convincing us that the only way to fight sickness and disease was through their medication / drugs or their spell giving potions.
How do you avoid the curse when you have forsaken the Lord? God help us!
Blow the trumpet in Zion declare a holy assembly.
Gather the people consecrate the assembly.
“The harvest is past,
the summer is ended,
and we are not saved”
The feast of trumpets is now!
And it is time to enter into your love fest!
